Everytime I see one of your reviews I always brace myself because it’s gonna be nothing but brutal honesty. Which is why I always read them

you’ve never enjoyed a book and found parts of it off or messy? Stars are vibes for me not technical points it’s an emotional decision. Lots of my 5 star reads aren’t totally perfect and I can read neg reviews of them are say yeah sure but those things didn’t lessen my love for it.

I feel the same. I once did comment on a book I 5-starred and that other person 1-starred, but not to attack their review but to say to a mutual friend I disagreed and to read for herself. Instant unfriending, that's what I got for my troubles. Since then, I don't bother commenting much. :)

Marquise, I don't mind when people share an opposing opinion in return to what I had to say, sometimes that even leads to interesting conversations. But sadly all I see are butthurt comments telling me to get a life bcz I didn't like their fave book lmaooo

I always read the 1 stars after I rate a book and most of the time there are valid points. Sometimes I come off the high of finishing a book I’m in a 4 star mood but after I come down and simmer with my thoughts I usually take it down a star or two
