The Fool deserves better...

I can't believe a character other than Granny is stealing the show so far in this book. The Fool is so likeable. A coward at times, yes, but trying his darned best to stick up for what is right. And his courage stepping in to help Magrat when she was about to be sexually assaulted by two guards? While being described as "jingling with rage" when he saw it? KING BEHAVIOUR all while making me chuckle. Love him.

Pratchett is, as always, a genius at wordplay, humour, and trope subversion. This Granny/Nanny/Magrat adventure is shaping up to be a good one
