This book is revolutionary. The author's take on death in my opinion is refreshing and incredibly healthy. Western culture does not do death well. This book makes me hopeful for a future when death is not taboo. Where we can care for our dead ourselves and not participate in the consumerist commercial funeral industry to the extent that most of us do today. I have found a new shero in Caitlin Doughty.
