slowly getting into the book but i’m IN LOVE with the banter between Poppy and Alex so far it’s just so so good and they kind of talk like my friends and i it’s like jarring a little but really funny. the switching around between different years in the timeline is really interesting

alex and poppy have this inside joke where for example alex is like “go to sleep weirdo” and poppy responds “sleep speaks to me” cause of this person during one of their first trips trying to convince them to buy this expensive ass statue being like “but does it speak to you?” AND IT MAKES ME LAUGH EVERY TIME LIEKAHKSHA
