Think I may dnf…the story/messaging is great but trying to read the prose is a nightmare. The writer was Ukrainian and wrote it in Portuguese and I’m obvi reading the English translation. TLDR: Stuff is definitely getting lost in translation.

Try The Hour of The Star if you haven’t already! personally my favorite of Lispector’s works
