This is not philosophy. Instead, RH has created a self help book using concepts from stoicism, historical examples, and logic, to motivate readers to overcome their fears and insecurities.

The main goal is to encourage readers to live boldly by discarding the negative opinions others express, in order to avoid being inhibited by fear. It's an easy and enjoyable to read, but it's basic and not at all profound.
