O K A Y ! this book is absolutely gut wrenching so far. I relate so much to Jo— she is me embodied in writing in so many ways. God and the last section from Bethie’s pov…. I screamed at one point while listening to it. It made me so sick to hear, women get put through so much starting at such young ages it’s insane. And the fact it’s such a universal experience as well makes it even more devastating.
