This is the slowest reading I’ve done in a long while. There are so many species, locations, names, layer upon layer upon layer of complexity that I’ve not been able to get into the book yet.

It is a huge universe he’s built, yes… but did it have to be so heavily populated with so much complexity this early on? I’m struggling to keep all the details in mind from one evening to the next…
