Saad Din have you watched the movie?

Aslam Mir Only the trailer. After finishing the book, I will watch it inshallah.

Saad Din A must watch, I consider the movie better then the novel.

Aslam Mir Might be! Story wise, a movie, based a novel and that too on a philosophical novel like this, might be more communicative but I think it is almost impossible that the movie might carry fully the insight, the poignancy, the philosophy the novel is loaded with?

Saad Din just watch it then have a discussion. I have same observation regarding Umrao Jan by Muzafar Ali, and to the contrary I believe that Satyajeet Ray ruined Shatranj Ke Khiladi, his climax was no match to the actual one penned by Prem Chand

Aslam Mir ok. We will discuss inshallah
