btw if anyone hasn't read Kindred i highly recommend it. i first read octavia butler's Xenogenesis (alt title Lilith's Brood) as a teen (many many times) so it's still my fave of hers and is more sci-fi.
i've read & enjoyed n.k. jemisin & nalo hopkinson. looking forward to phyllis alesia perry's Stigmata & shawntelle madison's Coveted.
