“I will be by to take you to work after I drop off Penny at school.” He smiles and kisses my forehead before walking out the door. I walk to stand on the deck. “This prospect will be watching after you. If you need anything, tell him.” He points to a massive guy on the bike, and holy shit, he is scary looking. I kiss Royal and he winks at me, then he's off on his bike.

There are rose petals on the table giving it an elegant and romantic vibe. The lights are dimmer here and there are candles on the table, giving a soft glow.

“Is it too much?” He asks, and I see an uneasy expression.
I shake my head furiously, “This is more than anyone has ever done for me.”

He grins at me, “She is my whole world. I have raised her all alone since she was a newborn."
