So far I've found Hans to be an intriguing character who I can easily relate to. He feels the pressure of his parents and everyone else in his life to do well in his schooling, yet it seems as though most of the joy in his life is found by being in nature. Fishing, swimming, and in general, being out by the nearby river is what he appreciates most at this time.
