I knew what I was getting into going into this book (which is probably why it is taking me so long to finish it), but didn’t expect I’d relate as much. I suppose the loss of any matriarchal figure you are close to (or were close to at some point) will bubble to the surface while reading this. Although I’m sad, it’s still a really good book, so I’m going to finish it.
