Thank you!! I saw everyone loved it so hopefully I do too or I’ll feel bad! It doesn’t feel too much olden days so far haha I’m just imagining everyone as the cast of Grease

I struggle with historical romance too, however, the ones that have worked for me have been in the 1700s for its ships, pirates or usually some kind of sea creature lol All the merman ones usually take place during this period 😂 The only issue with that time is some of the wording especially during sex scenes like nether regions, prick and some other choice words. I’ve had this on my TBR for awhile but I didn’t know it took place in the 1950s 🤦🏻‍♀️ Hope you enjoy it!

ooh a pirate book does sound kind of fun, maybe i'll have to try some day! i do hate nether regions though haha
im only 15% in but so far it doesnt really feel historical at all. it is pretty good so far though - hope you love it when you read it!

haha yes its my first ever historical, I just never loved olden day books, I avoid anything set before 2010 haha. But I have been saying for years now that I should try a historical. thought this would be a good place to start since its not that old haha.
whats a good regency to start with? i'm just a bit nervous they would all speak funny and not bathe frequently haha

Haven’t had a lot of reading time but at 15% I can say I’m really loving it so far!
