im losing my mind at how self indulgent this feels… who is going to tell kuang that there r academics that regularly engage with the world as cultural/field workers and even members of own trade unions that align themselves with the masses… it doesnt even work IN CONTEXT to have academics be so puny when this is set postwar book 😭 global north humanities scholars r NAWT beating the ivory tower allegations
