I read riot for the first time 11 years ago, for my first semester of my B.A. I remember reading loosely a photocopied version on my way home and falling in love with the book. I had to read it in a hurry, while reading a couple of more novels, a pile of short story stories and zillion poems. I always wanted to read this again leisurely, it took me 11 years.
