It is exactly what you think it will be, in every stereotype. It's a Cinderella story with a love triangle and the cliche bitchy bully chick. If you want something super light and amusing, I recommend it. I read it for that reason and enjoyed it. But it's not amazing or even new by any means. I -may- also strongly object to some of the way the politics are handled, but I'm postponing judgment on that until later in the series.
