I love the Outlander series but this book is so slow with way too much day to day trivia that seems unnecessary.

I love the Outlander series of books but this one is very slow and drawn out. Way too many nonessential details and day to day trivia is included. I’m listening to it on audible while I sew and I’ll finish it but I’m really wondering what the point is for the length of this book.
