Gifted from an old friend.. within the first few pages I knew this was going to be more than a series of lectures on the art of filmmaking in the late 20th century- it is so far a beautiful story of a man who is cerebrally unraveling the elements of what make a film.. can’t wait to keep reading!! (Also central conflict theory is going to be a trip to take a deep dive into..)
