I’m having trouble following the plot, but it’s not the book’s fault. It isn’t even my fault. How was I to know not to listen and navigate to an Airbnb 1.5 hours away in the boondocks while battling rain and bad cell service? How should I have known the directions were so bad I’d miss crucial info because I was lost & confused? I felt like a character in a MRR book: beleaguered, irritated, and soaking wet.
