I cannot finish this sadly. Returned to library - going in ‘did not finish’ pile. I do not subscribe to the need to finish a book if it’s uninteresting/bland, just for the sake of finishing it. Life too short.

i did like this book a lot but it probably could have done with being 100 pages shorter
