This book doesn't have many great parts. The worst part of this book is when Ford and Aurthor are aimlessly walking around on a foreign planet with nothing to do. I also liked this part because it was a nice break after the confusing spaceship for prisoners/settlers. It was not that great because it took up almost all of this last part, except the two times it switches to Zaphod to see what he is up to with his plan.

Zaphod met up with his crew. He then took them to the restaurant at the end of the universe. Arthur Dent then discoveres more about the universe outside of Earth. They have a nice dinner while catching up with each other on what happended when they were separated. The four then meet Marvin in the parking garage and steal a vehicle that is programmed to go sun diving. They then use the teleporter to escape their doom.

I would love to be a character in the story, especially Ford Perfect, because he is a happy, carefree man. This character will always go wherever his pilot wants to. He also is very knowledgeable about the universe and how to not be killed, which is a great aspect. Ford also knows many people so he can always seem to get wherever he wants. It would also be exciting to be researching for the biggest book company.
