awe Richard wanting to keep it hidden Aeschene's father didn't actually send the dowry

this book goes from using "ye" in place of "you" and back and forth so much like EITHER THEY HAVE THE ACCENTS OR THEY DON'T
it's hard enough reading the dialogue when the accents are written out like why does that have to be a thing?? It's set in Scotland idk who wouldn't be imagining a Scottish accent already while reading.
