I am having a lot of feelings. not surprising. but. it hurts.

I am amazed that nobody has made a biopic or limited series about this woman …. I’ll just have to write it i guess

back on the re-reading train for this one … somehow the letters are even more romantic reading them a second time

rereading 🥲 let’s call it preparing for the lida maxwell book

she wrote silent spring…. while battling cancer… literally writing chapters from her hospital bed. I’ll never complain about anything ever again

just read that the editor (Dorothy’s daughter) tried to edit out some of the more “intimate” letters. just say you hate gay people at that point
