A very delightful read so far, engaging narratively with a fun and interesting narrator I want to learn more and see how their story unfolds. It’s written in a way that immerses you in the time period but doesn’t insist upon itself so much that you feel like you’re forcing yourself to read it or gleam meaning from the pages. Quite inviting of a book.
