I’m ending. I put this down weeks ago and can’t bring myself to pick it back up

Finishes with another chapter of talking. I like the characters and I’m ready for something to happen, or for them to do something.

I still feel like I’m being told a lot about this world. They went from a bar chatting to a coffee shop chatting. I understand the need to world build, but let’s get to the action!

Also, does Billie’s character exist so Rev can info-dump world-building? Or will she have a purpose in the plot.

Still enjoying it. It hasn’t hiked me yet, but I feel hopeful it will.

So far the voice is good. Little info dumpy in the first chapter, but done in a way that wasn’t horrible. Rev doesn’t feel ancient or immortal, he feels and sounds like a pushing 40 kind of guy.
