pages 104 to 210 are about making a character. I read this and attempted to have some people over to make a character and was confused very badly. I should've just looked at the Player's Handbook instead. It has conflicting information in it and yes its for the 4th edition.

The practice chapter on how a battle would work was really interesting. It's a little simplified for this book but it was nice to see how something like that would work beforehand.

Why didn't they put the characters statistics onto a familiar or standard character sheet? Going into a real game with sheets after seeing these pages was disorienting.
