Too much detail, if there’s ever such a thing this author found out how to do it. To be specific, too much detail about west, east, north, near the levee (her absolute favorite word) backyard near the cow cropping farmers land levee southeast to the west of the north river behind the lake house…. It’s unnecessary, it doesn’t add to the story… it actually takes away from it.
