Restarting September 1

Remembering what happens to Nehemia makes me ill. I don't remember if it's this book or the next though.

Restarted midnight on May 1st.

So much plot! I love books that have excellent plots. Though it did get a bit out there with the hallucinations, but I’ll take it regardless.

I'm so pleased that I really like Cel, and am glad my first impression of her isn't the same. Her apologizing to the servants when she vomited made me like her even more.

Are the gargoyles doing the killing?

I like the aspect of adding the murders to the story. It gives a great plot and mystery to follow. This book has definitely gotten better.

Okay, I like her arrogance now. She is actually the perfect amount of girl and tough, and though she is probably some hidden royal, I hope that doesn't change her personality too much. She is fun to read.

I'm sure Cel is some princess or daughter of the killed royals from another country.. It just screams that. A child running and almost dying but saved by someone else? She's definitely someone royal and important.

I'm already not sure I am going to like this main character. While I understand she probably had this hard life, she's too arrogant already. "What a miserable state for a girl of formal beauty!" Had to roll my eyes at this.
