Non-book update: I'm in the path of totality of the eclipse in the U.S. today but unfortunately we are socked in with clouds. Very sad. Especially since the last two days were full sun.

Well, it turned out not to be a total bust, much better than I feared given the cloud cover. Had lots of glimpses en route to totality & saw the full ring for quite a while. The minutes of darkness like nighttime was very cool. Yay!
