I am having a hard time getting though this book because the main character Alex is so irritating. I am all for complex characters but I just cannot wrap my head around Alex. I have encountered girls like her throughout my life, so it's difficult for me to see things from her perspective, especially since I've also experienced the distress she causes in others.
