I’ve never read such a mouth-watering book in my life!!! I would classify this as food porn in the best and most dignified way possible. I. Am. Loving it.

The story is set in Japan and I’m really enjoying the cultural immersion and discourse about gender, relationships & society.

The characters are complex and beautifully written.

I’ve read some Japanese non-fiction titles but never a novel. mesmerising.
