This is an interesting read. The Medici family left some of the most beautiful buildings, libraries and parks in all of Europe. They also featured as a number of Popes and elected quite a few more. Their blood also coursed through most of the European Royal Families. The Medici were also brutal rulers, but perhaps no more brutal than their contemporaries. Most of them were also glutinous pigs.
