What in the Sam hill?!?!?!

I'm somewhat enjoying Carlos when we're in Grace's POV. I still could do without the split POV's & at almost 50% done with the book, I'm not sure how all these pieces will line up.

This might get flounced. Now we have an alternate reality where insecure Grace is trapped in a "perfect" person. Her nagging, incessant dumb questions & inability to even attempt to use deductive reasoning to navigate her situation makes me want to stab myself. I have not read an internal monologue this annoying in a long time.

At the moment I take issue with the main character's total lack of like-ability, which exists because we have an overweight character who hates herself and everyone around her exudes nothing but pity. Secondly, I can do without the split POV all together.
