For some reason I couldn’t stand that like if she said the flu or cold I would have been fine? Explain this to me😭🤣

i agree, i think its because covid is still too fresh in my mind, you know it was a whole year of being in my room because i didnt want to get sick, something i’ll remember forever, and when i read a book i read it to live my life in someone elses shoes but then covids mentioned and it feels too real to have in a book that i read specifically to escape what actually is real
