I feel like the author wanted to appease everyone. There is a bit of everything in this book. A bit of dominance, lots of intimacy that is supposed to be sweet, but it is alright.

I like books that go back in time, but this one until 75% you are still not sure how the first date went. The characters are strong, but not much said about them. There is lots of emotional baggage but too much. Could have been shorter.
