So apparently I can do mid-book reviews, woah.
The book is fascinating but so far a deeply chilling account of the divide in the whole region. The rampant nazism and ‘desire for a 2nd holocaust’ in 60s Egypt/Palestine is an especially terrifying read, as is the attitude of the region as a whole to the lives of innocents, even pre-partition, and how similar it is to the acts in the region today.
