Sitting by a canal with cherry blossoms all the way down it in Toyama waiting to meet an old friend. It’s truly bizarre and a little worrying how little I remember from living here. The station changed with the Shinkansen’s arrival and my old apartment building elicited nothing. The tram and the mountains are the same! But I swear I never found this canal in a year. Did I not like walk around???
