one thing I wish every guy writing urban slice of life stuff (which will in future become historical stuff) would do is give the street address of every single location he's writing about. Joseph Mitchell does not let a breath go by without telling you the address of somewhere in NYC and this is wonderful if you, like me, love Google Street View and believe in ghosts
