Every time I read this, I can't help but think how crazy it sounds that Ruth would walk across town and lay down at Boaz's feet. I still can't fully comprehend that or what significance it has, because I'm sure it does. I just always think how differently that would go in our day and time today if someone did what Ruth did. I really need to do a full blown Bible study on the book of Ruth.

I've always loved reading through Ruth. Hearing her story every time is so encouraging, and I love that. Also, we need some more men like Boaz..

Yes! I'd never really thought of it in that way but you're totally right.
I just love how the book of Ruth mirrors Jesus' love for us. Just like Boaz was Ruth's kinsman redeemer, Jesus came to earth and became human so that He was a sharer in our flesh and blood. He became our kinsman redeemer! Ruth is so good.
