Finished Butchers Crossing. Now onto Stoner. Butcher's crossing was interesting in that it encapsulated simultaneously the horror and malaise of the great buffalo hunts in a way I've never read before. It's a book that I took a long break from because life got in the way but always kept in the back of my mind so for that I have to commend it. Any art piece that can haunt you when you step away from it is wonderful.
