Adversity impacts the way other see us because of what they have gone through. Because of what Elenore has gone through it affects the way that Park sees Elenore. A character that I disagree with is Elenore because sometimes she can be overly sensitive with some topics that aren't meant to be. I think that the way that she lives especially with her step father who makes her feel like everything she does is wrong which makes her feel like everything she does or says is wrong or bad.

Why do you think Park would bring up the fact that Tina liked him and wanted him when Park said, " it was nice to have the most popular girl in the neighborhood offering herself to him every now and then" (Rowell 178).
