Odysseus gets worse the longer I read, omfg.

I know I'm not a fan of Greek heroes and their stories, but good gods Odysseus is so exhausting. Gimme more gods and less him. He's more annoying than Telemachus, which previously I didn't think was possible

Let it be known I skipped the first HUNDRED PAGES of introduction, so realistically I'm only up to Book 2 out of 24. Right off the bat, I'm a big fan of "They (mortals) say we (the gods) cause their suffering, but they themselves increase it by folly," followed ten pages later by "Poets are not to blame for how things are; Zeus is."
