holy crap this chapter was long, and it was almost pure expo dump, it took me a little to read bc the first bit of this chapter is very boring. But it picks up once we get more world building, and Duncan’s return, as well as the introduction of Stilgar, who is possibly my favorite character from the film so I’m very curious to see that they do with him here.

I love this, I’m barely 100 pages in and I feel so immersed in the world of Arrakis and the Atreides family. The story hasn’t even picked up fully yet, I can’t wait

I think it’s awesome, I actually love the omniscient perspectives, I also really like how we are getting this first little bit in mainly Jessica’s perspective. The dialogue feels very tense at every moment. I can’t wait to keep going
