I realize now that this book has been adapted into the Princess Sarah anime, which although I haven't seen, is popular in this country (had live action movie adaptations and all). the reason why I'm familiar of this is because of the Tagalog dub--the official one, but most of all the re-imagined versions with out-of-control scripts
