I’m not in the right state of mind to read this now. Might start over.
If the translation does the original justice, this seems to me both more concrete than the Dhammapada, and more vague.
The Dhammapada, somehow, strikes true, while this still seems circumlocutionary, somehow.

It’s quite the shift to be reading something such as this again.
