You know, I have read about 125 pages of this, and I simply cannot connect with it. For one thing, Stephen King did this better: kids exploited by an evil government agency. Hell *I* did it better, in my first novel, DETONATOR. I am bagging it. I tried reading one other of Farris's books, ALL HEADS TURN WHEN THE HUNT GOES BY, & I couldn't finish that one, either. I'm done with Farris, I think.
