i am LOSING! MY! MIND! i was actually EXCITED FOR THEM. i LIKE gibsie and claire, a refreshing change imo but IM SORRY I WASNT AWARE THIS WAS A LIZZIE PREQUEL. i alr despised hugh and lizzie for getting tgt whilst hugh was with katie (i hate cheaters) and rn my hatred is intensifying. she has the mindset of ‘if i can’t be happy nobody can’. WHY WAS SHE BELITTLING CLAIRE FOR GETTING A JOB? BC SHE DIDNT? insane.

lizzie is single-handedly making this the worst book ive ever read which sucks bc i actually like claire and gibsie. safe to say i WILL NOT be reading her novels in fact i hope shannon’s other siblings get books before her. ‘character development’ all u want, but living life berating friends 24/7 & saying gibsie’s family’s death don’t count bc it wasn’t “like [her] sister”. straight up cruel.
