I actually started this book and didn’t think I was going to like it. I thought it was going to be another stupid haunted house but this story surprised me. The house itself is a character in this story and it’s lovely. Though the true masterpiece of a character is Opal herself. So many times I laughed out loud at her sass. I think this is a must ready for all fiction lovers.
