Ove is a man of principle. Something he proclaims is lacking in the world. I don't agree with his point of view, but I can't blame him for having it because he's consistent with his actions and beliefs. I'm unsure if I want to be like him or if seeing the world as hypocritical as he does makes you as miserable as Ove.

Hearing the internal monologue of a man who sees the world as black and white is fascinating because of how exhausting it is to read every detail about Ove's perceptions. The writing is witty at times, the story is heartwarming, and I can't help but feel bad for Ove. I'll be updating this one quite regularly as I read it to see how my opinion changes as more of Ove's life is revealed
